2m run for the Large Penthouse Coop
The run is a great addition to the coop but could do with some upgrades to make it outstanding. Bear in mind that the run itself is only 1m (the other meter is counted from the area under the coop). The run is easy to build with cable ties (it would have been nicer to have metal clips for this as the plastic will degrade with time. The horizontal guard/ skirt is a good idea to prevent predators from digging close to the run edge and breaking in. However, bear in mind that the squirt does not work with the wheel set...i..e the wheels cannot reach the floor and rest on the skirt so you cannot move the coop.... I ended up not installing the back portions of the skirt so that the wheels can work properly. With some more time I might be able to figure out how/ where to cut the mesh of the skirt partially. The 2 square doors at the back of the coop and great to easily be able to access water and keep it under cover and away from the sun. The way the doors are connected to the coop is ok but I am not sure they would withstand a determined vicious fox attach as they are attached via cable ties and the wesh doors are only marginally larger than the openings; I used to live in a place with foxes but thankfully not anymore so this will not be an issue for me. For extra security I will use a carabiner or two to lock the run door in place. The mesh of the coop is reasonably wide and I believe does not fullfill the flowdown requirements for the UK but this can be overcome with the placement of a smalelr mesh net on top of the existing one (if needed). Additionally the run does not have a cover but it is easy enough to add a tarpaulin cover which I will do myself. I havent yet tried to move the coop with the run attached (seemingly this is possible). I suspect this will be challenging and easier done with 2 people rather than on your own.

Viel zu teuer Keine Beschreibung dabei Die Türchen am Haus sind schlecht zu öffnen, wenn man beim Stallaufbau alles zu fest angezogen hat. Die zwei Meter sind incl Stall, das hätte ich mir doch etwas größer vorgestellt. Ich dachte, die Gitterlänge sei 2 Meter, also schlecht beschrieben. Ich hätte es gerne zurück geschickt, war nach dem Auf- und auspacken zu spät. Zwei Ecken der Gitter sind schon verkratzt und kaputt.

Cela change du bois ! Facile à monter, mes poules (10) et mon coq l’ont vite adopté (1 jour !). Il faut juste se faire à l’ouverture de la grande porte qu’on ouvre moins rapidement et facilement qu’un poulailler en bois. Mais c’est tellement facile de nettoyer…! Cela change la vie !
